Why we need to wear our faith in a world of conformity.

The average contemporary Christian is remarkably tolerant and unfazed by many worldly happenings. It's unsurprising that the Christian faith often becomes an easy target compared to other religions. Christians are typically non-confrontational about their beliefs, which some argue is fundamental to Christianity. After all, didn't Christ advocate for turning the other cheek?

However, there is an appropriate time for everything. A time to turn the cheek and a time to metaphorically arm yourself and fight the battle of faith.

In Luke 22:36, Christ instructs his disciples, who had previously gone out without money or supplies yet lacked nothing, to sell their cloaks for a sword if they didn't have one. Yet, moments later, when the guards came to arrest him, he told them to put their swords away and even healed the guard whose ear was cut off.

This illustrates that while Christians should never be offensive, they shouldn't be complacent and must be ready for spiritual battles.

What does this have to do with expressing your faith, you ask?

Everything. Expressing your faith is a way of resisting conformity to the world. It's a means of declaring who you are and to whom you belong.

By choosing not to conform to this world, making a declaration of faith, and protecting your mind through what you consume, watch, and wear.

It's time to begin making a statement of your faith and be deliberate about where you allocate your resources.

Live with purpose and wear your faith with confidence.

Be Intentional. Live Purposefully
